- I'm a part-time writer of short fiction who has been published once, and is still seeking a professional sale. My short-term goals are to make that first sale, and to follow it up with at least two more in 2010, so I may apply for membership to the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. Other short-term goals include selling to a print market (as opposed to an ezine-only market) and selling to a professional anthology.
My long-term goals are even more ambitious: Become a full-time writer who earns a living writing fiction. I would also love to become a best-selling author. I would also like to date a supermodel. I would also like a million dollars. When should I stop? I could go on all day.
